World Design
Arcanex needs world design that understands systems, infrastructure, and player behavior together.
Persistent worlds need identity, ownership, economy, social structure, world history, and reasons to return.
Arcanex Online uses towns as one proof case, but the deeper problem is durable player investment.
What Needs Designing
World design work includes player roles, ownership, economies, social structures, blueprint-driven content, region logic, retention loops, history, moderation, permissions, and long-term meaning.
A persistent world cannot rely only on content consumption. It needs places, roles, relationships, conflict, cooperation, and memory that continue to matter.
Towns are Arcanex Online’s current proof case for persistent player investment. Other worlds may use factions, crews, houses, guilds, regions, campaigns, arenas, or other structures that fit their design.
Where To Go Next
Blueprint generation explains how design intent can become reusable world logic. Open Problems explains where world-design and tooling work remains.
